There are many, many options, but our most popular trip begins at Texas Parks and Wildlife Public Boat Ramp in New Braunfels and ends approx. 5 miles down-stream at Outlaw River Rentals' take out location. Rentals are go-at-your-own pace. Average paddling time is 2.5 hours, but it all depends on you and what you are doing e.g., stopping to swim, fishing, picnicking, or just sightseeing. This is a start to finish paddle. On this trip, there is not an option to get out early.

Lifejackets are recommended for weak swimmers and mandatory for children under 13.
Noise devices must not be audible beyond 50 feet.

What You Need to Know

Please, be aware unforeseen day-to-day variability in demand leads to some days with higher traffic volumes than others which, can cause a ​delay in the schedule. Its completely out of our hands so don't be disappointed (this means if your scheduled for 1pm and traffic is backed up you might not get on the water till 1:30 - 1:45pm)!

You are allowed to bring whatever drinks and snacks you want to make your trip more enjoyable, i.e. aluminum cans, plastic bottles and snack containers. Just remember, NO GLASS and NO STYRO FOAM ice chests or cups. Please treat the land and the river as you would your own.

Our rentals are by reservation only. We require half down for a reservation.
*Non-refundable $10.00 service charge for all transactions. *There is a 50% non-refundable deposit on all rentals and trips unless you cancel 24hrs in advance. (This excludes the service fee.) *You will be charged the full amount if you do not cancel within 24 hours prior to your scheduled event. We closely monitor the weather for thunderstorms, flooding, etc. Should we need to postpone a trip due to weather you will be given the opportunity to transfer to a future date at no cost.
